There are many coaches …
But if you are on a spiritual journey, or just looking for alternatives to what everyone else is doing,
I believe I would serve you better than others

Over the millennia, we humans have been interested in ways to change our inner experience,
and there have always been those who have asked:
Can I be happier?
And if so, how?
and there have always been those who have asked:
Can I be happier?
And if so, how?
It’s a question I started asking myself in my teens, and the search for greater happiness became my journey - and then eventually my passion.
The first “toolkit for happiness” I found was Buddhism, and that’s still the foundation on which I build my life. But there are other paths that will bring you to greater happiness, including life coaching.
So what if you could combine Buddhism – or any other approach that looks for happiness on the inside - with the modern techniques of coaching? Well, it turns out that you can!

Why a Buddhist Life Coach?
|
The simple answer is: because you’d like to feel more at peace, more fulfilled, and more in harmony with other people and with yourself – in a word, happier - and because coaching is probably the fastest and easiest way for you to get there!
Coaching isn’t about giving you a set of tips to follow, tips that might work well for many people, but quite possibly not for you. Instead, it involves a unique one-on-one conversation that uses a variety of techniques to help you see your life from new and different perspectives, so that you don’t just go on repeating the approaches and strategies that haven’t worked for you in the past. Coaching is also very direct, so that you see deep transformation in every session rather than having to wait and wait for the changes you hope will (someday) happen. Patience is a virtue, of course, but not when it’s holding you back from a better life … Whatever your dreams or challenges may be, coaching is a fast, effective, and enjoyable way forward. And as well as getting you to where you want to be, working with a good coach makes you feel more optimistic, excited and alive while you’re on your journey! |
Unfortunately, coaching often has a bit of an image problem, as too many coaches (the loudest ones?) seem so heavily focused on “money, and the things that money can buy”.
But for those of you who prefer a spiritual approach to life, perhaps that material focus just doesn’t address your interests, needs and dreams – just as it doesn’t address mine! I’m very glad that I was a Buddhist for over 20 years before I heard of coaching, because that meant that I’ve always seen happiness as the result of our relationship with our mind and emotions, and not as something we can only find if we strive to “achieve” or “get” or “succeed” more. Of course, you don’t need to identify as a Buddhist to find this approach to happiness attractive; if you’re on any spiritual path, or just feel that the important answers are on the inside, you’ll naturally be looking for effective ways to create greater inner peace and a more authentic life. It would be a pity to miss out on all the benefits of coaching just because you couldn’t find a coach who understands where you’re coming from. Fortunately, you’ve found your way to that coach! |
